TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
In terms of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements,     
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are       
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period  
will be more than 20% different than that of the prior comparative period.      
In light of the above, Sekunjalo expects to announce a loss per share of between
5 and 6 cents and a headline loss per share of between 5.46 and 6.5 cents for   
the six months ended 28 February 2005.                                          
This lower than expected performance is as a result of the continued            
strengthening of the rand and the pelagic season starting four months later than
usual with continued fixed costs being incurred since the prior comparative     
period. The rand strengthening together with the inherent cyclical nature of the
fishing and healthcare industries has affected profitability.                   
Notwithstanding the above, shareholders are advised that the results for the six
months ended 28 February 2005 are not indicative of earnings for the full year  
ending 31 August 2005.                                                          
It is expected that performance for the 2005 financial year will be improved in 
comparison to that of the prior comparative period. This will be as a result of 
the income of the newly acquired business as well as the upside of the fishing  
and healthcare industries coming into effect in the latter six months of the    
financial year.                                                                 
Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been reviewed or    
reported on by the Company"s auditors and the Company"s results for the six     
months ended 28 February 2005 are expected to be published on 30 May 2005.
