Competition Tribunal approval for Chemserve transaction.                        
On Tuesday, 26 April 2005, the Competition Tribunal granted final approval,     
subject to certain conditions being met, for Chemical Services Limited          
(Chemserve) to acquire Chemiphos (Pty) Limited.  From 1 May 2005, therefore,    
Chemiphos will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chemserve.                   
Chemiphos manufactures and supplies specialist polyphosphoric acid to catalyst  
manufacturers, and food grade phosphoric acid to the food and beverage industry.
It also distributes products for a number of international principals.          
Chemserve is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AECI.
