In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
on 1 April 2005 Lonmin Plc received notification from Mr J N Robinson, a        
Director of the Company, that he was notified on 31 March 2005 by his Personal  
Equity Plan administrators that he had become interested in 32 additional       
Ordinary Shares of US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc. The shares were acquired 
on 31 March 2005 at a price of 989.9p per share.
