Matisonn is already a member of the PruHealth Board and a member of the Discovery executive, where he has been for over 10 years. Matisonn has been intricately involved in the development of the Discovery"s successful medical scheme model during that time. Matisonn has also been closely involved with the PruHealth JV from inception, so he will be able to apply his knowledge and skills to his new role immediately. PruHealth was successfully launched in the UK market late last year. PruHealth is revolutionising the private medical insurance marketplace in the UK with its innovative approach to products and positioning in an otherwise stagnant market. Catherine McGrath, the outgoing Chief Executive, leaves the business with the best wishes and thanks of the PruHealth Board for the immense effort that she and her team invested in the set-up phase of the business.
