Lonmin Plc (the "Company") announces that as previously indicated, Peter Ledger 
retired as an executive director at the conclusion of today"s Annual General    
Meeting.                                                                        
As part of an orderly handover process, Peter has now stepped back from his     
operational management responsibilities and Brad Mills is acting in his place,  
pending the arrival of the new president.  Peter will leave the Company"s       
employment on 31 March, and we wish him well.
