Further to the announcement made on 16 December 2004, and in accordance with    
Section 198 (as amended) of the Companies Act 1985, Lonmin Plc was advised      
yesterday by Lloyds TSB Bank plc that it no longer has a notifiable interest in 
the ordinary shares of US$1 each of the Company.                                
This notification was made on behalf of Lloyds TSB Group plc and its            
subsidiaries.
