TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
Sekunjalo shareholders are advised that it is expected that headline earnings   
per share and earnings per share for the year ended 31 August 2004 will be      
substantially (substantially being in excess of 30% as defined in the JSE       
Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements) lower than that of the  
previous comparative period.                                                    
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company"s     
auditors. Further details of the above will be provided when Sekunjalo"s results
for the year ended 31 August 2004 are published on or about Monday, 29 November 
2004.
