TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
In terms of the revised Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange    
South Africa ("JSE"), a listed company is required to publish a trading         
statement as soon as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next   
period to be reported on will show a 20% or more difference from those of the   
previous corresponding period.                                                  
Nu-world is expecting an increase of between 30% and 50% in earnings per share  
and headline earnings per share for the year ended 31 August 2004 compared to   
that of the previous comparative period.                                        
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on  
by Nu-World"s auditors.                                                         
The abovementioned results are expected to be published on or about 27 October  
2004.
