REVISED PREFERENCE SHARE OFFER                                                  
Cementation preference shareholders are advised that Murray & Roberts Limited   
has revised the terms of the preference share offer, in that it now offers to   
acquire all or any of the Cementation preference shares that it has not already 
acquired for a cash consideration of 300 cents per Cementation preference share,
being 200% higher than the price per Cementation preference share paid to       
Skanska Cementation International Holdings Limited.                             
Cementation preference shareholders are reminded of the following dates and     
times pertaining to the general meeting of Cementation preference shareholders  
and the preference share offer ("the offer"):

Last day to trade on the JSE to be eligible to
