Lonmin Ends Strike Action                                                       
Lonmin Plc announces the successful resolution of the unofficial strike action  
by miners at shaft three of its South African Karee mine that began on 13 August
2004.  The strike was over disciplinary matters and had not been sanctioned by  
the relevant trade unions, who worked with the company to end the strike.       
Production has not been affected.
