TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT                                   
Shareholders were advised in Nu-World"s 2003 annual results announcement        
(published on SENS on 14 October 2003) and in the Group"s annual report that an 
improvement in trading conditions was anticipated.                              
In line with this statement and mainly as a result of lower interest rates,     
increased consumer spending and the appreciation of the Rand, it is expected    
that the results for the six months to 28 February 2004 will show a substantial 
improvement on the results of the previous comparative period, being the six    
months to 28 February 2003.  The word substantial in this context is defined as 
meaning a difference equal to or greater than 30%.                              
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been 
reviewed or reported on by the Company"s auditors. Shareholders are therefore   
advised to exercise caution when dealing in Nu-World securities until the       
publication of its interim results in April 2004.
