The directors of Bell Equipment Limited have pleasure in announcing that Douglas
Millard Gage (USA) has been appointed as an alternate non-executive director    
with effect from 12 February 2004.  With effect from the same date, non-        
executive director Guy Patrick Harris has now become an executive director.
