CHANGE OF NAME                                                                  
Java Capital is authorised to announce that Steers Holdings will, subject to the
approval of shareholders and the passing and registration by the Registrar of   
Companies of the necessary special resolution, change its name ("the name       
change") to Famous Brands Limited ("Famous Brands"). The new abbreviated name   
and share code of the company will be FamBrands and FBR respectively.           
With effect from 1 December 2003, Steers Holdings acquired the entire capital of
Pleasure Foods (Proprietary) Limited owning the Wimpy and Whistle Stop          
trademarks. These trademarks, as well as the numerous brands previously owned or
licensed by Steers Holdings, namely Steers, Debonairs Pizza, FishAways, House of
Coffees, Brazillian Coffee Shops and Pouyoukas, have necessitated the name      
change to more accurately reflect the diversity of the company"s brand          
portfolio.
