the year ended 30 June 2003 to members on Friday, 12 December 2003, and as the  
information previously published in the reviewed preliminary report on 25       
September 2003 is unchanged, will not be publishing an abridged report.         
Notice is hereby given that Petra Mining Limited"s annual general meeting of    
shareholders will be held at Guarantee House, 28 Visagie Street, Pretoria on    
Friday, 30 January 2004 at 09:00 to transact the business as stated in the      
notice of the annual general meeting circulated together with the annual        
financial statements.
