DISPOSAL OF PROPERTIES TO PRIMA PROPERTY TRUST                                  
Java Capital is authorised to announce that at the general meetings of Redefine 
shareholders and debenture holders (collectively, "combined unitholders") held  
on Wednesday, 7 January 2004, convened in terms of the notices of meeting       
contained in the circular dated 15 December 2003, combined unitholders approved 
the ordinary resolutions for the disposal of a property portfolio to Prima      
Property Trust ("Prima").                                                       
All conditions relating to the disposal have been fulfilled, save for the       
approval of Prima unitholders, which is anticipated to be obtained at the       
meeting of Prima unitholders on Monday, 12 January 2004.
