In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
Lonmin Plc has today received notification from Mr J N Robinson, a Director of  
the Company, that he was today notified by his Personal Equity Plan             
administrators that he had become interested in one additional Ordinary Share of
US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc. The share was acquired on 31 December 2003  
at a price of 1,096.4000p per share.
