Sanlam today announced the appointment of Mr Temba Mvusi as Chief Executive:    
Group Services in Sanlam Limited from 1 January 2004. Mr Mvusi will also become 
a member of Sanlam Limited"s Exco.                                              
He is currently Head of External Interface at Sanlam Investment Management,     
responsible for business development and client services.                       
Mr Mvusi will have overall responsibility for the portfolios of group IT and    
human resources, public affairs, empowerment and corporate social investment,   
corporate communications and corporate operational services. He will also       
provide key accounts support throughout the Group.
