Board changes at Bidvest announced                                              
Several changes to Bidvest"s main Board were announced today by Executive       
Chairman Brian Joffe:                                                           
Non-executive, independent directors appointed to Bidvest:                      
*        Douglas Band - Mr Band has been appointed to Bidvest"s audit,          
remuneration and acquisition committees.                                        
*        Advocate Nazeer Cassim - Adv Cassim is a practising senior counsel at  
the Johannesburg Bar and has been appointed to Bidvest"s audit committee.       
Executive directors appointed:                                                  
*        Muriel Dube, Executive Director - Group Commercial Director            
*        Lionel Jacobs, Executive Director - Bidserv Commercial Director        
*        Fred Barnes - Chief Executive of 3663 First for Foodservice.           
*        Bernard Berson - Chief Executive Bidvest Australasia.                  
Resigning executive directors:                                                  
*        Frank Robarts - Mr Robarts remains a director of the Bidoffice         
operational boards on which he is active.                                       
*        Isaac Berman - Mr Berman has retired and will continue to serve on     
operational boards.                                                             
*        Charles Watt - Mr Watt continues to serve on operational boards and    
remains active in Bidvest"s foodservice operations.                             
*        Bernard Chipkin - Mr Chipkin will become an alternate non-executive    
director to Mervyn Chipkin.
