   Further to the announcement of 3 April 2003, Standard Bank and the consortium
led by Mr Ronnie Ntuli (Nduna Trust) and Safika and including Simeka and a broad
based empowerment trust ("the Consortium"), are pleased to announce that the    
conditions precedent referred to in that announcement and required for the      
creation of Andisa Capital have been fulfilled.                                 
Consequently, Andisa Capital commenced business today.                       
   Standard Bank and the Consortium welcome the implementation of this venture, 
which reaffirms their ongoing commitment to black economic empowerment in South 
Africa.
