TRANS HEX"S FIRST ANGOLAN DIAMOND SALES Trans Hex Group Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1963/007579/06) JSE code: TSX ISIN: ZAE000018552 ("Trans Hex" or "the Group") Trans Hex has concluded the first sales from the Luarica operation in Angola, having commenced mining in April of this year. 20 000 carats were sold at an average price in excess of US 300 dollars per carat. The parcel included 25 stones larger than 10 carats, the largest of which was a 76 carat white stone. Trans Hex"s CEO Calvyn Gardner commented: "We are pleased to have earned our first revenue from Luarica less than a year after signing our joint venture agreement with Endiama. Prices achieved were in line with expectations and confirm our belief that Luarica is a world class deposit".
