Lonmin Plc announces that it has today allotted 15,662 ordinary shares of $1    
each to Mr Sam Jonah, a director of the Company, following his exercise of an   
option at a price of 375.1070p per share granted under The Lonmin Overseas &    
Associate Share Option Scheme. Mr Jonah will retain the shares so allotted and  
his beneficial holding now amounts to 31,696 ordinary shares of $1 each.
