The Board of Lonmin Plc has previously announced an interim dividend of 30 cents
per share payable on 15 August 2003 in sterling to UK shareholders calculated at
the US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 18 July 2003 and in dollars to all   
overseas shareholders other than those on the South African branch register who 
will receive Rand.  The US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 18 July 2003 was 
$1.598 /GBP1 and accordingly the sterling dividend payable is 18.77 pence per   
share.
