In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
on 31 March 2003 Lonmin Plc received notification from Mr J N Robinson, a       
Director of the Company, that he was notified on 31 March 2003 by his Personal  
Equity Plan administrators that he had become interested in a further 57        
Ordinary Shares of US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc.  The shares were acquired
on 31 March 2003 at a price of 680p per share by way of dividend reinvestment.
