The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") wishes to advise that the  
audit opinion on Goldedge`s annual financial statements for the year ended 30   
June 2002 and Trematon`s annual financial statements for the year ended 31      
August 2002 contain an emphasis of matter. Shareholders are advised to refer to 
the financial statements to ascertain the exact nature of the modifications.    
Accordingly, the companies` listing on the JSE SETS system will be annotated    
with an "E" with effect from Wednesday, 5 February 2003, to indicate the        
emphasis of matter.  The companies` annotation will be removed when the         
companies produce an unmodified audit opinion.                                  
This announcement has been placed by the JSE in the interest of shareholders.
