Lonmin Plc has today received a notification in fulfilment of an obligation     
imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985 that Mr J N Robinson, a        
Director of the Company, was notified on 3 January 2003 by his Personal Equity  
Plan (PEP) administrators that on 31 December 2002 they purchased one ordinary  
share of US$1 each of Lonmin Plc at a price of 865.8000p per share.
