appointments                                                                    
Group Five today announced that Eugene du Toit has been appointed as Managing   
Director of its Roads and Earthworks operations with immediate effect.          
Du Toit has been with Group Five for 22 years and has been the MD of Civils     
Infrastructure since 1999. He holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering and  
will be responsible for the growth, development and financial performance of the
newly merged Roads and Earthworks operations.                                   
Roads and Earthworks now operates from a single site and has strong potential in
the local and international markets. Operations have been focused along client  
and country clusters, which has improved Group Five`s ability to secure and     
service road building and earthworks projects throughout the whole of Africa.   
Resulting from Du Toit`s appointment, Andrew McJannet has been appointed as     
Managing Director of Civil Engineering.  McJannet has been with Group Five for  
15 years and holds a BSc Civil Engineering and Masters Degree in Politics and   
Economics.                                                                      
Group Five also announced the appointment of Matt Nkala as the Managing Director
of Group Five KwaZulu-Natal. Nkala recently joined Group Five and holds a BSc.  
Electrical Engineering and an MBA.
