Notice is hereby given of the following transactions in respect of the          
company`s shares by company directors:                                          
Michael Samuel Mark ( Executive Chairman)                                       
Acceptance on 7 November 2002 of options granted in terms of and subject to     
the rules of the company`s share scheme, to acquire 900 000 of the company`s    
ordinary shares at a price of 574 cents per share (being the volume weighted    
average price of the company`s shares traded on the JSE over the 5 day          
period ending at the close of business on 6 November 2002), giving rise to a    
100% direct and beneficial interest in such options.

Acceptance on 7 November 2002 of options granted in terms of and subject to     
the rules of the company`s share scheme, to acquire  250 000 of the             
company`s ordinary shares at a price of 574 cents per share (being the          
volume weighted average price of the company`s shares traded on the JSE over    
the 5 day period ending at the close of business on 6 November 2002), giving    
rise to a 100% direct and beneficial interest in such options.
