Lonmin Plc has today received a notification in fulfilment of an                
obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985 that Mr J N         
Robinson, a Director of the Company, was notified by his Personal Equity        
Plan (PEP) administrators that on 30 September 2002 they purchased 32           
ordinary shares of US$1 each of Lonmin Plc at a price of 867.5000p per          
share.
