GROUP FIVE ANNOUNCES ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL CONTRACT                             
Group Five, one of South Africa`s largest construction companies, today         
announced that its subsidiary, Group Civils - Industrial and Mining - has       
secured two contracts worth R95 million at Vilankulo in Mozambique.             
The Group Five Temane project, a joint venture with an Italian construction     
company, CMC, is responsible for all the civil and infrastructural works of the 
main gas processing plant at the start of the Mozambique/ Sasol gas line.  Group
Five will also be responsible for establishing all the infrastructure and       
accommodation facilities.                                                       
Commenting on the new contract, Group Five CEO Mike Lomas said: "These new cross
border contracts are another example of the success of our focus on increasing  
our hard-currency earnings.  Strong alliances with our contracting partners and 
a culture of teamwork within the Group create an integrated effort to deliver   
fully on requirements. "
