Lonmin Plc has today received a notification in fulfilment of an obligation     
imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985, that on 5 June 2002 Mr S E    
Jonah, a Director of the Company, exercised an option over 130,000 ordinary     
shares of $1 each of the Company at an exercise price of 250p per share         
under the Lonmin Executive Share Option Scheme and sold all of the shares       
arising at a price of GBP12.0523 per share.
