On 28 May 2002 notice was given in terms of paragraphs 3.72 to 3.75 of the      
Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa of two        
transactions in respect of the company`s shares by Albert Edward Parfett, a     
non-executive director of the company.                                          
Unfortunately a typographical error resulted in the price of the shares         
acquired in terms of one of these transactions being wrongly recorded. The      
corrected notice is as follows:                                                 
Nature of transaction # 2:    Exercise of previously granted options, held      
in terms of and subject to the rules of the       

                              company`s share scheme, and the consequent        
                              acquisition of 200 000 ordinary shares in the     
                              company at a price of 292cps.
