DIVIDEND DECLARATION

Shareholders' attention is drawn to the results of the Company for the half-
year ended December 31  2001, published on February 18  2002 ("the results
announcement"). The board of directors of the Company has reconsidered the
manner in which the distribution to members referred to in the results
announcement is to be effected and has determined that the full 90,0 cents
per share which was awarded to members in terms of the results announcement
shall be distributed out of the profits of the Company, as an interim cash
dividend. The Company shall not, accordingly, be distributing any amount out
of its share premium account. None of the dates and times referred to in the
results announcement shall be affected by the aforegoing.
