PROPOSED ACQUISITION BY BIDVEST OF THE ENTIRE ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL OF VOLTEX
Further to the announcement of November 15 2001 regarding the proposed
acquisition by Bidvest of the entire issued share capital of Voltex, Voltex
shareholders are advised that due to the distribution of 100 (one hundred)
cents to Voltex shareholders having been paid later than initially expected,
Bidvest have agreed to increase the scheme or offer consideration, as the
case may be, by 0,5 (zero comma five) cents per Voltex share. Further
announcements regarding the proposed acquisition will be published in due
course.
