In response to a number of the requests from the investment community
regarding the future Aspen Pharmacare pipeline of products, the table set
out below provides a detailed analysis.

The following points are important in understanding the table:

Values stated in the table have been derived from IMS.  IMS is an

independent measure of the private pharmaceutical market of South Africa.
The IMS value set out in the table records the value of sales of the

originator's products.  In assessing the potential value to Aspen Pharmacare
of the dossiers to be launched the following needs to be taken into
consideration:

The generic product of an original trades at a discount to the original
product.

The entry of generic products to the market will result in greater
competition.

2. The table relates to the South African private market only.  The South
African tender (public) market  has been omitted entirely.  Furthermore,
because of current uncertainties, no value has been placed on the Aspen
Pharmacare pipeline of HIV/AIDS products.

3. Products sourced which are already registered are not included in the
table.

4. This pipeline is dynamic and the table will in future be updated on our
website for new products sourced or developed.  Aspen Pharmacare's current
market share per therapeutic class can also be found on the website at
