imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985, that Mr J N Robinson, a
Director of the Company, was notified by his Personal Equity Plan

administrators that he had become interested in a further 34 Ordinary Shares
of GBP1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc.  The shares were acquired on 2 July
2001 at a price of 1033p per share.
