In terms of paragraph 3.67 (b) of the JSE Listings Requirements the following
information is disclosed:

Georges Leung Shing(Mauritian) resigned as a director of Illovo Sugar Limited
on Friday 6 April 2001.

His resignation was as a consequence of Illovo's disposal of its interest in
Mon Tresor and Mon Desert Limited(Mauritius), which was completed on that day.
