APPOINTMENT OF UMGENI WATER GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with the Debt Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Umgeni Water would like to
bring to the attention of its debt investors, the appointment of its Company Secretary, Mr Sbusiso
Madonsela with effect from the 1st of January 2022.

Mr Madonsela is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds various legal
qualifications that include an LLM (UKZN); LLB (UZ); Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance (UJ).

Mr Madonsela is no stranger to the debt investors as he previously held the role as Group Company
Secretary until March 2021.

Umgeni Water is delighted to welcome back Mr Madonsela to the helm of the company secretariat
office.
