PUBLICATION OF 2017 ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF MTNH


Noteholders are advised that the Annual Financial Statements of
MTNH Limited and its guarantor MTN Group Limited for the year ended
31 December 2017 (“the AFS”) have been published on the website of
MTN Group Limited (“MTN Group”).


MTNH is an investment holding company within the MTN Group and the
company provides treasury services to the MTN Group. During 2017,
the company’s net interest income, generated by these treasury
activities increased in relation to its total earnings and required
these activities, previously included in finance income and
finance costs, to be disclosed in the operating profit of the
company as interest income and interest expense respectively. The
company also reclassified the related cash flows. Note 3 of the
company’s annual financial statements provides the full details of
the reclassification.
