QUALIFIED AUDIT OPINION ON ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS * Capital Property Fund ("Capital") * Centrecity Property Fund ("Cenprop")
The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") advises that the audit opinion on Capital and Cenprop's annual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2001 has been qualified.
Accordingly, the companies' listing on the JET system of the JSE will be annotated with a "Q" with effect from 3 April 2002, to indicate the
qualification. This annotation will be removed when the companies produce an unqualified audit opinion. LATE SUBMISSION OF ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS * E-data Holdings Limited ("E-Data")
The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") advises that the above- mentioned listed company has failed to comply with the JSE's Listings Requirements by not submitting its annual financial statements within six months of the company's financial year end.
Accordingly, the company's listing on the JET system of the JSE will be annotated with a "RE" with effect from Wednesday, 3 April 2002, to indicate that the company has failed to submit its annual financial statements timeously and that the listing of the company's securities is under threat of suspension and possible termination. Should the company not submit its annual financial statements by Friday, 3 May 2002, its listing will be suspended, pending the convening of a special meeting of the JSE to consider the continued suspension or termination of its listing.
MODIFIED AUDIT OPINION ON ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS * Quyn Holdings Limited ("Quyn") * Mathomo Group Limited ("Mathomo")
The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") advises that the audit opinion on Quyn and Mathomo's annual financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2001 contains an emphasis of matter paragraph relating to a significant uncertainty.
Accordingly, the companies' listing on the JET system of the JSE will be annotated with an "E" with effect from 3 April 2002, to indicate the
emphasis of matter. A company's annotation will be removed when that company produces an unmodified audit opinion.
ADVERSE AUDIT OPINION ON ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS * Elixir Technology Holdings Limited ("Elixir")
The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") advises that the audit opinion on Elexir's annual financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2001 contains an adverse audit opinion.
The company's listing on the JET system of the JSE will be annotated with an "A" with effect from 3 April 2002, to indicate the adverse audit opinion. This annotation will be removed when the company's auditors' report no longer contains an adverse audit opinion.
The announcement has been placed by the JSE in the interest of shareholders. 2 April 2002
