EARLY REDEMPTION OF IVC162 NOTES (“IVC162 NOTES”)

Investec Bank Limited (“the Issuer”) has exercised its option to early redeem all of the
IVC162 Notes in terms of item 32 of the Applicable Pricing Supplement, pursuant to the
terms and conditions set out in the Issuer’s Credit-Linked Note Programme dated
10 May 2010, as follows:
