SAPPI`s Annual General Meeting was held in Johannesburg this afternoon (03 March
2008) and all resolutions as proposed at the meeting were duly passed by the    
respective requisite majorities. Ordinary resolution No 3 regarding placing 10% 
of the un-issued shares of the Company under the control of the directors as    
contained in the Notice of Meeting was withdrawn and not proposed at the        
meeting.
