NOTIFICATION OF UPDATE OF APPLICABLE PRICING SUPPLEMENT FOR IVC243

In terms of condition 33.1 of the terms and conditions of the ZAR 15,000,000,000 credit
linked note programme (the Programme) and paragraphs 6.56(a) of the Debt Listings
Requirements, the Issuer wishes to advise that the Applicable Pricing Supplement relating
to IVC243 (the APS) incorrectly reflects FirstRand Bank Limited as the Settlement Agent.

The APS has been amended to reflect as follows:

Settlement Agent:     Standard Bank of South Africa Limited

Adding the words “amended and restated” prior to the words applicable pricing supplement
throughout the APS.

The amended APS has been provided to the JSE and is available for inspection on the
website of the Issuer at https://www.investec.com/en_za/corporate-investment/institutional-
sales-and-structuring/pricing-supplements.html and on the website of the JSE at
www.jse.co.za
