APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings
Requirements, the board of directors of the Company (“the
Board”) wishes to advise that Mr Lodewyk de Jager (“Lood”) has
been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the
Company with effect from 26 April 2021.
Lood, a Chartered Accountant, has experience in both listed
and unlisted company environments. He has held various
positions in the education, finance, information technology
and manufacturing sectors with broad strategic, operational
and governance acumen. Previous responsibilities involved
management oversight and integration of companies in SA, SADC
and Europe.
During the last 20 years, Lood has served on various boards,
sub-committees and industry associations, in executive and
non-executive roles, including those of chair and vice chair.
Lood is member of the South African Institute of Chartered
Accountants as well as being a past member of the
Manufacturing Circle, AECMSA and the Institute of Directors.
The Board welcomes Lood and looks forward to his contribution
towards assisting the Board in achieving its objectives. Lood
will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
