TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the
next period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that for the six-
month period ended 31 August 2021 loss per share will be between -6.63 and -7.23 cents per
share, compared to the loss per share of -2.98 cents per share for the six-month period ended
31 August 2020, being an increase in the loss per share of between 123% and 143%. Headline
loss per share is expected to be between -1.73 and -2.32 cents per share compared to the
headline loss per share of -2.95 cents per share for the six-month period ended 31 August
2020, being a decrease in the loss per share of between 22% and 42%
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and
reported on by Chrometco’s external auditors.
