M Xayiya has an indirect holding of 12 956 122 shares in Mvela Group via        
Mvelaphanda Holdings as he is a beneficiary of The Dikela Trust which is a      
shareholder of Mvelaphanda Holdings.                                            
Further to the transfer of 10 000 000 and 8 000 000 Mvela Group shares by       
Mvelaphanda Holdings in lieu of the repayment of debt on 3 March 2009 and 8     
September 2009 respectively, the indirect beneficial interest in Mvela Group    
held by M Xayiya via his indirect shareholding in Mvelaphanda Holdings have     
reduced by 1 800 000 shares.  Consequently, M Xayiya holds an indirect          
beneficial interest of 11 156 122 Mvela Group shares (representing 2.5% of      
the issued share capital of Mvela Group).
