CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                               
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, 
Zaptronix`s shareholders are hereby notified of the following changes to the    
board of directors of Zaptronix:                                                
1.   Barry Botes has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the       
company with immediate effect. Barry is a qualified Chartered Accountant    
    and has vast experience on all levels surrounding financial and investment  
    management through his directorship on various boards. Barry was the Chief  
    Executive Officer of the MPF Management Services (Pty) Ltd until 1997 at    
which stage they had R 33 billion under management. After fulfilling the    
    role of Managing Director at ABSA Asset Management, Comesa Financial        
    Exchange (Pty) Ltd and The African Commerce Exchange (Pty) Ltd, he became   
    the Financial Director of Global Mining Supply Group (Pty) Ltd and ADP      
Projects (Pty) Ltd in 2005.                                                 
2.   Michael Freestone resigned as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the       
    company with effect from 31 August 2010 due to ill health. Michael offers a 
    wealth of experience and specialised knowledge of the industry and          
accordingly the board has requested Michael to stay on as a non-executive   
    director. The company is actively looking for a new CEO. In the meantime,   
    Jan Nel, the former CEO of the company, will act as CEO on a temporally     
    basis until such time as a suitable replacement has been found.             
The board of Zaptronix are proud in welcoming Barry to the board and would like 
to express their best wishes to Michael.
