NOTICE OF BUSINESS RESCUE RESOLUTION

Further to announcement released on 13 July 2020, shareholders are advised that the board
of directors of MRI resolved, on 14 July 2020, to commence with voluntary business rescue
proceedings as provided for in Section 129 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as amended.
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission has confirmed that the relevant
application was registered on 17 July 2020 and that the effective date of commencement of
business rescue proceedings is 14 July 2020.

The Board considers this decision to be prudent and in the best interests of shareholders while
the business rescue practitioner explores solutions to the challenges facing the Company.

Shareholders will be updated as further material information becomes available and are
advised to exercise caution when entering into any off-market trades in relation to the
Company’s shares.
