ABIL APPOINTS GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR                                          
ABIL is pleased to announce the appointment of its current Chief Financial      
Officer, Nithiananthan Nalliah (Nithia), as Group Financial Director, and as an 
executive director of African Bank Limited. Both appointments are effective     
immediately.                                                                    
Nithia joined ABIL as Chief Financial Officer in October 2006.  Nithia is a     
CA(SA) and was a senior partner at Deloitte prior to his joining the group.
