In compliance with the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements, the following information is disclosed in
relation to dealings in Fairvest shares by associates of directors.

The shares in question were issued to such associates pursuant to them electing to reinvest the Fairvest
final dividend of 8.489 cents per share for the six months ended 30 June 2016, in new Fairvest ordinary
shares at a reinvestment price of R1.67041. In this regard, shareholders are referred to the
announcements released by Fairvest on the JSE’s Stock Exchange News Service on 8 September 2016,
27 September 2016 and 17 October 2016 relating to the dividend and reinvestment alternative.
