NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS IN TERMS OF SECTION 150 OF THE COMPANIES ACT 71 OF 2008
(“COMPANIES ACT”) – PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROPOSED BUSINESS RESCUE
PLAN FOR CIG (IN BUSINESS RESCUE)
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement released on Tuesday, 10 November 2020 wherein shareholders
were advised that the Company had commenced voluntary business rescue proceedings on 9 November 2020.
In accordance with section 150(1) of the Companies Act, the practitioner, after consulting the creditors, other affected
persons, and the management of the company, must prepare a business rescue plan for consideration and possible
adoption at a meeting held in terms of section 151.
Accordingly, notice is hereby given to the shareholders of the Company that the duly appointed joint business rescue
practitioners of the Company, PF van den Steen and MDT Liebenberg, have prepared, published and distributed the
Business Rescue Plan for the Company. The Business Rescue Plan will be tabled for adoption at a virtual meeting to
be held in terms of section 151 of the Companies Act, on Friday, 30 April 2021. Details regrading this meeting will be
distributed to all Affected Persons in the next 48 hours.
The Business Rescue Plan has been delivered to the CIPC and distributed to all known affected persons via email and
via upload to the Company’s website. As affected persons, shareholders are able to view the Business Rescue Plan at
www.ciglimited.com, under the Business Rescue tab.
